7th Annual Southwest Ohio Erosion and Sediment Control Field Day: In order to welcome the new decade, the Southwest Ohio Sediment and Erosion Control Field Day has had an “extreme makeover”! This year the event will be held on February 24, 2010 at the Clermont County Fairgrounds, 1000 Locust Street, in Owensville from 2 pm to 7 pm. Highlights this year include two speakers from the National Association of Home Builders Research Center’s National Green Building Program, along with field demonstrations of various best management practices, and a catered steak dinner with cash bar, and dinner entertainment provided by The Bob and Tom Radio Show favorite Mr. Drew Hastings! The event is worth 3 PDUs for those with CPESC, CESSWI and CPSWQ certifications.
The event aims to promote soil conservation and stormwater pollution prevention as it relates to the construction industry, showcase current practices and new technologies that are on the market to satisfy the regulatory requirements and also as a forum to discuss current or upcoming trends and regulations.
Space is limited, so register today! There is an early registration fee of $30.00 until January 25, 2009. This includes the cost of the steak dinner and evening entertainment. The registration fee increases to $40.00 after this date. Registration will be cut off once the allotted space has been filled. Checks should be made payable to Warren Soil & Water Conservation District. (Download PDF copy of registration form).
There are also opportunities for event sponsorships at the gold, silver and bronze levels, and for booth space. Sponsor and vendor applications will be accepted through February 1, 2010. Click here to download a PDF copy of the sponsor and vendor application form.
