What's In the Water?

A little girl helps clean East Fork River

Jump feet first into the East Fork of the Little Miami!  On Saturday, August 7, 2010, the Clermont County Park District Naturalist will lead a program at Sycamore Park in Batavia to explore life in the river.  Lead by the naturalist, participants will use kick nets and spread out in the river to see what creatures are hiding below the surface.

This program is free and open to the public.  Those interested in participating should meet at the Sycamore park information kiosk at 11:00 a.m. on August 7.  Closed toe shoes are recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact the Clermont County Park District at (513) 732-2977, or by email at parkdistrict@co.clermont.oh.us.
